Taiwanese 3 Cup Chicken

Ingredients

1/3 CupSoy Sauce
1/3 CupRice Wine
1/3 CupSesame Oil
3 TBSP Sugar
1 tsp dried chili flakes
1/2 tsp salt
Family Pack Chicken Drumsticks
8-10 wholegarlic
1 pieceginger

Preparation

Combine the above ingredients, without the garlic and ginger and chicken, in a large measuring glass and stir sauce.

  • In hot wok, add oil and swirl around to brown chicken.
  • Add 8-10 whole garlic cloves and 1-2 inch piece of ginger chopped in big chunks.
  • Add chicken drumsticks
  • Brown Chicken
  • Add stirred sauce
  • Let simmer down - sauce thicken - about 20 minutes
